Part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison, just south of the capital. The Savannah is used for horse racing, and around it stand 18th- and 19th-century military buildings, including the Barbados Museum in the former military prison and the George Washington House. A good morning's walk.
