🌙

Zoe in Yellow

The solo traveler's unofficial meeting point every night in Chiang Mai. Not fancy — just the right energy, cheap drinks, and everyone's alone and okay with it.

Bar Not Found Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai's quirkiest hidden bar — tucked up a flight of bright orange stairs off Changphuak Soi 4, with no sign outside and no social media presence beyond Instagram. Each cocktail is named after a colour, served in beautifully minimal glassware. Very affordable, unpretentious, and genuinely creative — the kind of place that wins international recognition while staying local at heart. The perfect first speakeasy for solo travelers in Chiang Mai.

🌙

Forbidden Bar Chiang Mai

A moody, modern speakeasy hidden above an ice cream shop on Nimman Soi 5 — follow the dark staircase past the freezers to find a surprising intimate cocktail bar with dessert-inspired cocktails and dramatic lighting. Known for its creative menu that pairs Thai flavours with classic cocktail techniques: lychee Martinis, pandan Negronis, and butterfly pea Gimlets. One of Nimman's best value evening destinations.
