Clan Jetties of Penang
Six wooden jetty settlements extending over the water of the Penang seafront, where Chinese clan communities have lived in stilted wooden houses since the 1800s. The Chew Jetty is the largest and most visited, with a living village of a few hundred residents who maintain the oldest waterfront community in Southeast Asia.
