A long white-sand beach reached by a paved path of about 2.5km from the edge of Puerto Ayora, open during daylight hours (sign in at the start). The main beach, Playa Brava, has strong currents and is not for swimming, but at its end the sheltered Playa Mansa is calm, with marine iguanas, pelicans and sometimes reef sharks.
