Solo Travel Tips· Solo Friendly

Suchitoto is El Salvador's most beautiful colonial town and extremely solo-friendly — the cobblestone streets, indigo workshops, and lakeside setting are perfect for slow solo exploration. The lake boat trips to bird islands and the nearby rope swing waterfall are excellent solo activities. The town has a vibrant arts scene and some of El Salvador's best restaurants and guesthouses.
