Wat Phra That Mae Yen (White Buddha) Pai

A hilltop temple with a large white Buddha statue overlooking the Pai valley, reached by 353 steps. The panoramic 360-degree view from the top covers the entire valley, the town below, and the surrounding mountain ridges - the most comprehensive viewpoint accessible on foot in the Pai area.

Pai Memorial Bridge

A wooden bridge built by Japanese forces during World War II to cross the Pai River, later becoming one of the most photographed sites in northern Thailand. Chinese Village (Ban Santichon) Pai

A Yunnan Chinese village founded by Kuomintang soldiers who fled China in 1949, maintaining distinct Yunnan Chinese cultural traditions including tea ceremonies, Yunnan coffee cultivation, and traditional clothing. The village sits on a hill 4km from Pai with panoramic views and excellent Yunnan-style cooking.
