Cloud 9 Surfing Break

One of the top 10 surf breaks in the world. Cloud 9 is a hollow, barreling right-hander that breaks over a shallow reef — best at 4–8 feet, ridden by intermediates and experts. The iconic wooden boardwalk offers front-row spectator access even if you're not surfing. Host to the annual Siargao International Surfing Cup.

A stunning emerald-green lagoon in Del Carmen, accessible only by boat (45 min from General Luna). The water is impossibly clear and calm — perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, and jumping from the wooden platform dock. Surrounded by mangroves; arrive early before the tour boats crowd in.

Magpupungko Rock Pools

Natural rock pools formed by volcanic rock formations on the northeast coast. At low tide, the pools are calm and clear — perfect for swimming. At high tide, waves crash dramatically over the rock formations. Accessible by motorbike (35 min from GL); check tide charts before you go — low tide only.
